Cypriot Recipes
Having stayed for more than 3 months in a cottage in Protaras back in late 1990’s, I have learned a lot. I did not want to spend all my money on take away’ s or taverns, thus decided to cook at home. My neighbors were nice local people, and the grandmother of my landlady was a very good at preparing meals. Every few days I used to see her in the garden, and she would invite me in to eat with them. She also used to tell me how she made the meal. So as not to forget, I used to write everything, and cook it again at home
Yesterday I found one of these papers that had one recipe. I am presenting it here. I will search between my belongings and papers in the coming days. And as I find the rest, I will put them here.
There is nothing better than and ORIGINAL RECIPE, from an old local grandmother.
